And this involves at least one photo editing app. Whether you simply took several shots from different shooting angles, editing, removing or replacing image objects, the bottom-line remains that a degree of editing is required. Many thanks to the ever-evolving photo editing technology. You can, in fact, change the entire scene and make look like you took the shot in your bathroom… There’s no telling the endless possibilities that abounds in photography –digital photography, to be more precise. It used to be an impossible task but that’s no longer the case anymore. You take a photo shoot at the beach with lots of people around, but you want to make it look as though you hired the entire space for your private use. It’s no surprise how a captured scene from different shooting angles give a variety of stunning perspectives –sometimes so distinct that one can hardly correlate the differences. Manually importing files into LR is very quick.Variety, they say, is the spice of life, and photography is an epitome of variety. ![]() ![]() One of the exports is still around some place though, because it eventually complains that the file is already in the catalogue (as it is by then).īoth LR & DxO behave fine apart from this. ![]() If within that 5 or 6 mins I re-export the file from DxO back to LR the file shows up in the catalogue straight away. When I export from DxO back to LR a new filename shows up in the catalogue with the right pic in it - eventually! Eventually means after a delay of about 5 or 6 mins. (LR 3.6 because it runs under Linux/WINE which is probably where I'm heading after Windows 7 expires!)ĭxO provide a couple of plugins to send a file to Optics Pro & then back to Lightroom. I'm using DxO Optics Pro 11 with Lightroom 3.6, 64bit versions of both under Windows 7 64 bit - latest available maintenance on all of them. ![]()
